Day 58–March 3–Puerta Princesa—A TRIKE NAMED JOY

In Puerta Princesa, Philippines, Helene & I decided to get a ride on a “trike” (A motorcycle that carries 2 passengers and a driver in a covered box.)

Once we got in, the driver said: “let’s take a trip with Ernie.”

My first thought was “I must have a name tag on”. No!! It turned out his name was also Ernie.

So the caption to this photo should read.

ERNIE MEETS ERNIE (Halfway Around the World)

I see that it seems to be a modified – or home-made – sidecar. And, as a motorcyclist myself, I think the name “JOY” is quite wonderful and very appropriate.

Carry on in good form, youall!!
